Descriptif:
Of so-called meiping form with rounded shoulder and sides tapering to the small foot which is inset, the short neck expanding towards the lip. Painted round the outside with dominant tones of green and crimson-pink is a design of three white herons among growing lotus, reeds and other water-plants, also a two-line poem that reads: "jie ru jun zi de, yun si meiren zhuang 介如君子德,韻似美人粧 ". Whole as the virtue of a sage, varied in nuance as the beauty's dress; preceded and followed by seals in iron-red "jiali 佳麗" (Fine and elegant), "cui pu 翠鋪" (kingfisher nest), and "xia ying 霞映" (sunlit radiance).
